About Jessica
Jessica Friend MA BMus EMT is a singer/actor, creative and coach based in South West London and the Cotswolds, and currently working predominantly as a singing coach and running her singing teaching agency.
Jessica is a dedicated singing tutor, coaching at establishments like Italia Conti, Mountview and ArtsEd, and also holds the prestigious Estill Master Trainer Certification..
As a performer, Jessica most recently appeared as The Queen in LAS Theatre’s production of The Light Princess at ARC Stockton in December 2024. The production toured UK venues in 2025.
Recent Credits Include: Musician (Mall Galleries, Malec Fostock Exhibition), What You Don't Know About Women (Phoenix Arts Club), The Light Princess (ARC Stockton & UK Tour), Spots Birthday Party (UK Tour & Singapore Fest 2024), Three Little Pigs (UK Tour); Yoghurt Is Not Sexy (Camden People’s Theatre & Arcola Theatre); Exploring Sondheim From A Singer’s Perspective (Vox Integra).
She is the founder of Jessica Friend Singing Co, a bespoke agency offering high-quality singing lessons & more for adults and young creatives across London, both in person studio SW London, Online and through Home Visits, supported by a team of trusted, professional teachers, who are all working professionals in the industry.
In addition, Jessica runs The London Singing Social, a choir-like group focusing on vocal and personal empowerment, a judgement-free zone, singing technique, harmony and feel-good singing.
Qualifications/experience include:

Masters in Musical Theatre at Mountview (Distinction). Her dissertation and practice included research into anthropocentrism, using Feminist Performance Practice and Brechtian Techniques which developed into Yoghurt Is Not Sexy as seen at Arcola Theatre and Camden People's Theatre.
